My Mum was a very caring, generous and thoughtful person who was taken from us too early in her life. It still doesnt seem real that she's not with us anymore and it is heartbreaking to think we'll never see her again but she will live on in our hearts and in our memories Forever xx Here is a little bit about her. My Mum Sue passed away on Wednesday 10th June 2009 in Flers hospital Normandie France, it was almost three months after her 59th birthday. Mum had battled so bravely from a very short term illness to cancer, it came out of no where and she was not able to win this fight - the odds were against her. I remember her saying 'Ive got the sh*t end of the straw' and didnt she just. Keeping it from her friends and family the doctor said Mum was very optimistic and although suffering alot of pain and discomfort had a joke and a laugh almost to the end. My Dad was by her side which is exactly how she wanted it. My Mum and Dad had decided to move to France from the U.K for a better life and what better way than to retire to the countryside. Mum continued with working as a mobile hairdresser which she loved as she always liked meeting people and loved a good gossip. She used to get in her car, set up the Sat Nav and away she'd go.... You would never see her sitting down as she would always be on the go and was so house proud. If she wasn't dusting she was hoovering and if she wasnt doing the hoovering she was doing something around the house. She always found something to do and not forgetting if you went to see her the first comment she would make would be about your hair and she would always be keen to get her hands on it and give you a revamp. As a daughter she would always say 'What have you done to your hair and put some lipstick on you look ill - Brighten yourself up'. She could be a bit of a nightmare really and the arguments we had but that was the way she was and that is the way I remember Mum being. She always took great pride in herself. Mum may not have been perfect, but obviously too perfect for this world to contain. So here is a little bit more about her: Mum had 2 daughters Kirsty born in 1972 and Chelsea (me) born in 1976. Kirsty has 2 children Myles James born 13 June 2007 and Grace Sophia born 25 Sept 2008. Luckily Mum had the chance in January to see her Grandaughter for the first time before passing away. She would have loved to have seen them go to school. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy! There are photos of them everywhere - on her pc, around the house, in her bag along with the many others of her nieces, nephew & friends children.... She also has her Mother Mary who is now 90, her Brother Ray, Sister Angela, Sister-in-laws Sandra and Jackie, Brother-in-law John and her Nieces Emma, Katharine, Zoe, Rachel, Sarah and Nephew Andrew.
