A FUNNY MEETING. We moved to La Dezarine, Le Pas on May 4th 2007. Some weeks later moaning about the urgent need for a haircut to Chris and Pippa in their bar at Couesmes-Vauce, Pippa gave us Sues telephone number. An appointment was made and my wife Susie passed the phone to mean I gave Sue explicit instructions to our house. The time of the appointment came and went then the telephone rang. It was Sue to say she was lost. I repeated explicit instructions. Later, the phone went again. Sue was lost. I repeated explicit instructions. Shortly after Sue arrived. She said she had driven past twice without realizing it and promptly burst into peals of laughter. And that is how we will al ways remember her for her smiling face and the laughs we had every time she came. But apart from the laughs she always returned to her favourite subject - her family. So, apart from being our superb hairdresser she also became our good friend. Then one day Sue phoned to say she was unable to make our appointment because she had to go into hospital for some tests. She continued to phone us both from hospital and home. Then one day Keith phoned with the awful news.The next time Keith phoned was to invite us to Sues funeral. We did attend but couldn't find the right moment to speak to Keith but Susie did leave a message on his answerphone later. So, we did get to say goodbye, but we will never forget sweet smiling Sue.
